Epic Half-Day Wisconsin Musky Trip with First-Time Catchers

Such an awesome night was had, last night i had the pleasure of sharing the boat with the boys from N.C.
It was pretty epic to say the least. Congrats to both Nick and Nick on their first Muskys ever.
We ended the half day trip with 3 musky in the net and a mess of crappie in the livewell. Thanks for a fun night out guys.

<p>One for the books today! Tom and I headed out this summer afternoon for some river fishing action around Wisconsin waters. The late afternoon start gave us perfect timing to work the river system, and conditions lined up just right for what we had planned. We put together a solid game plan focusing on the techniques that work best in these Wisconsin rivers with Sirny's Guide Service and our Unwind During an Afternoon Half-Day Fishing Trip in Wisconsin.</p><p>
</p><p>Once the stage was set, we dialed in our approach using drift fishing to cover water efficiently, working bottom bouncing techniques through the deeper runs, and mixing in spinner fishing to trigger strikes. The Northern Pike were fired up and cooperative, making quick work of our presentations as we stayed versitile with our methods. Wisconsin rivers are phenomenal for this type of fishing because the current breaks and structure hold fish consistently, and the variety of techniques keeps you in the game all day. We wrapped up the trip with great success and smiles all around, putting the pieces together perfectly!</p><p>
</p><p>If you're thinking about getting out on Wisconsin waters for some serious river fishing action, this is exactly what our Fishing Trip In Wisconsin 4 Hour Charter Trip delivers. The Northern Pike fishing stays consistent through summer and fall, and these river systems offer incredible opportunities for drift fishing, bottom bouncing, and spinner presentations. Wisconsin's diverse waterways provide phenomenal fishing experiences whether you're looking to unwind during an afternoon half-day adventure or planning a longer expedition. Our run-and-gun approach keeps the action moving, and we stay dialed in on the techniques that produce results. Contact Sirny's Guide Service to book your Wisconsin river fishing experience - the pike are fired up and ready to play!</p>

I took my time getting to the spot and managed to start fishing around 6:10 a.m. and fished untill about 7:45 a.m</div><div><br></div><div>Its a little bit of a hike but i brought some live bait just incase. I didn't end up needing it tho because artificial was the way to go. these fish were fired up and ready to go.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>&nbsp;The ticket was a 1/8 Oz jig head , (didn't matter what color) and a chartreuse 3 inch grub tail. This lure was casted to the edge of the current and bounced along bottom back towards shore. this technique can be very effective however you tend to get snagged a lot, that's why we use Fins braid 8 l.b. on our walleye set ups.&nbsp; it works great and saves us a lot of baits when fishing the river as well as let's us fish longer because we're not constantly re tieing lines.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>We caught Catfish, Northern Pike, Walleye and White Bass using the technique above and caught around 30 fish total this morning with 5 of them being legal walleyes between 2 guys. over all fun and productive morning on the water.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>

<div>the bite changes daily however hair jigs, plain hook and a sinker, and 1/8 Oz jig all tipped with a minnow or plastic has been producing lots of fish for us.&nbsp;</div>

Walleye and crappie

<div>The Big Eau Plaine Reservoir produces some quality fish each year for us. the Walleye and Crappie bite has been on fire with many big perch being caught as well. we are mainly fishing tip ups for walleye with a shiner or sucker minnow. the crappies are coming on tip downs with crappie minnows suspended 3 feet off of bottom.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Jigging this time of year is equally productive. we like to use smaller profile baits tipped with a plastic, minnow head or grub. finding the correct cadence that triggers these fish can be difficult at times. although there are pleanty of healthy fish in this system it can be tough at times. if you find your self struggling give us a call.&nbsp;</div>

Yellow Perch Fishing

Living in Central Wisconsin has its perks, with the Wisconsin River running right through the middle of the state I have the privilege of fishing some great water. Within a few minute car ride, I have access to fish the Big Eau Pleine, Lake Du Bay, Lake Wausau, a variety of lakes to the north/south, along with many different backwater sloughs of the Wisconsin River. With so many different options to choose from it gives me the ability to stay on the bite constantly.
When you book a trip with me you have the choice to target big bluegills, slab crappies, northern pike, perch, and walleyes.
I fish a run-and-gun approach to put fish on the ice. This means we are constantly moving from hole to hole to allow you access to the most active fish each particular body of water has to offer. I am also equipped to set up camp for the day, make sure you are comfortable, and can stay warm while still catching fish.

Wisconsin River walleyes, smallmouth bass, musky, and northernpike.

<div>I took some clients out in pursuit of walleyes and crappies. Crappies were hard to come by and walleye bite was finicky. We tried large minnows and suckers.&nbsp; We caught a ton of small mouth bass and a bunch of walleyes this way. we went out the following day and used a more aggressive approach with the weather being a little better. we were throwing rip-n-raps and caught a bunch of slot fish, over slot fish and legals. they had a good time as did I.&nbsp;</div>

Walleyes, crappies, perch, bluegills, smallmouth bass, northern pike, and dogfish

<div>Fishing has been phenomenal, we were able to put the pieces together such as lure, lure speed, lure color and location all together to catch a ton of big walleyes, crappies, perch, bluegills, northern pike and smallmouth bass.&nbsp;</div>

August Walleye Run in Minocqua, WI

The walleye bite has been phenomenal this summer so far. Trolling is our most efficient way to locate and catch ALOT of walleyes, catfish, and bass in a short trip. We fished for 2 1/2 hours Sunday with only 4 rods out for walleyes and caught around 40 walleyes with bass, catfish, and musky mixed in. It was a blast. If you are not interested in fishing and more so in the catching aspect of things call me today and book your trip.
